Rural Health Association of Tennessee (RHAT)'s 2014 Special Exemplary Project Award

Tennessee Emergency Medical Services for Children received RHAT's Special Exemplary Award at RHAT's Annual Conference in Pigeon Forge. The award, which was presented in November during the Association’s 20th Annual Conference, recognizes an organization or group that has successfully developed a unique program that advances rural health.

“Receiving this award is a testament to the hard work of so many statewide partners,” said Rhonda Phillippi, TN EMSC Executive Director. “I am proud to accept the award on behalf of these partners and look forward to continuing our work with Tennessee’s rural communities.”

Pacific Medical Training's Best of EMS and EMT Websites

2014 - After reviewing hundreds of websites, Pacific Medical Training is happy to award TN Emergency Medical Services for Children "Best of EMS & EMT Sites" Award. We fully appreciate and can understand the time and commitment it takes to maintain a website and continue to provide current content easily accessible to the sites viewers. Brittany Davidson, Project Coordinator has dedicated her time to rebuilding the design and functionality of the website.Tennessee EMSC Foundation is dedicated to providing on-going education and training to ensure that emergency care providers, nurses, and physicians in Tennessee can give the best care to every critically ill or injured child they treat. Their site contains information about causes and events to help children receive the healthcare and treatment they deserve.



Rural Health Association of Tennessee Al Grant Award


2009—Rhonda Phillippi, RN, BA, Executive Director of TN EMSC received the Al Grant Award
            from the Rural Health Association of Tennessee. The Al Grant Award is bestowed upon
            an individual who has exhibited above-and-beyond exemplary-initiative in forwarding the
            cause of rural health in Tennessee over the person's career.


IABC Gold Pen Award in Most Improved Category

2009—Tennessee Emergency Medical Services for Children Foundation received a Silver Award
            in the Most Improved category for our new brochure from the International Association
            of Business Communicators (IABC).
